Government Says No More Mail?
Prices just keep increasing.
If you plan on sending any mail in 2023, get ready to pay more than usual.
According to The Hill, the United States Postal Service is now expected to increase the cost of postage to offset the rising costs of operating.
Starting on January 22nd, the USPS will increase their prices on some postage by 4.2% which comes out to a few more cents per stamp.
A Forever stamp will now increase by 3 cents going from 60 cents to 63 cents per item of mail.
If you rely heavily on sending mail you can purchase stamps in bulk now to avoid paying more after January 22nd.

Additionally, the USPS is raising prices to send Priority Mail by about 5.5%. Priority Mail Express will increase by 6.6% and First-Class Package Service prices will increase by 7.8%.
