3 States Where Americans Pay Less Taxes
Good news for some but not all.
A handful of states have decided to cut taxes this year to put more money back into the hands of American taxpayers who are struggling to keep up thanks to President Biden’s inflation.
According to Fox, around 11 states which are controlled by Republicans have reduced their taxes for taxpayers in some way.
Here are three states helping fight Bidenflation by lowering taxes for their citizens:
Arizona – Arizona has decided to adopt the flat tax plan which repeals the states its old graduated income tax scale which began at 2.59% with a maximum tax of 4.5% for Americans who earn more than $159,000 per year.
former Republican Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey explained, “This tax relief keeps Arizona competitive and preserves our reputation as a jobs magnet and generator of opportunity.”
Idaho – Idaho has decided to implement a new flat individual income tax rate of 5.8% which is expected to go into effect some time this year.
North Carolina – North Carolina’s flat tax rate is dropping in 2023 from the previous 4.99% to just 4.75%.
President Biden and the Democrats really hurt Americans financially by sending inflation soaring. Republican states are doing their best to soften the blow for taxpayers.
