Bad News For Drivers
If you rely on gas you’re in trouble.
Just when Americans thought they were going to catch a break, gas prices are now back on the rise due to excessive fuel demand and overall higher oil prices.
According to Fox, the national average for a single gallon of standard gasoline hit $3.44 on Tuesday because American drivers are taking advantage of the milder weather in most of the country.
AAA spokesperson Andrew Gross added that there will be high gas prices because of “the cost of oil hitting $80 a barrel, there is a lot of upward pressure on gas prices at the moment.”
Prices are still lower than all-time record high of $5.02 per gallon which happened on June 14th thanks to President Biden.
Gas prices are down around $1.60 a gallon from their peak this summer – and my Administration will keep working to lower costs for American families.

Up until just last month, gas prices had been steadily decreasing since June and Americans were finally beginning to feel some relief. Sadly, that is no longer the case.
