U.S. Job Market Collapses
What will Biden do? Probably nothing.
If you thought “The Great Resignation” was officially over think again because new data has revealed that the United States is still suffering from a nationwide worker shortage that continues to drag down the economy.
According to Fox, Bureau of Labor Statistics found that in 2022 there were 10.4 million jobs available however only 6 million Americans were looking for work.
FOX Business’ Jeff Flock explained, “If everybody who was unemployed had a job, we’d still be 4 million workers short. And if you look at the job openings, they’ve down a little from that all-time high, but still very high.”
The number of unfilled jobs remains at 10 million for 13 months straight and there is little sign for recovery.
Home Depot co-founder Bernie Marcus reacted to the news of the America’s employment problem and said that he thinks it is because socialism is taking root in the United States and more Americans than ever before simply don’t want to work.
Marcus explained, “Just give it to me. Send me money. I don’t want to work. I’m too lazy, I’m too fat, I’m too stupid.”
It is unclear how President Biden and the Democrats will remedy this situation because there is a mountain of issues that Biden has to tackle before getting to the root cause of the problem. Will this employment issue last until 2024? It is unclear but things aren’t looking good at the moment.
