Twitter Whistleblower Drops Bombshell
This is not good.
Not only did Tesla CEO Elon Musk not buy social media giant Twitter but now things have gotten much worse for them because a whistleblower is airing all of their dirty laundry.
According to Yahoo Finance, Twitter’s former security chief Peiter “Mudge” Zatko leaked to media sources that Twitter is a security trainwreck.
Zatko even disclosed to the Securities and Exchange Commission, Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission that Twitter even went as far as disincentivizing employees to not try and determine just how many bots are on Twitter.
Twitter claims that 5% of all accounts on Twitter are bots however Zatko is claiming that they no one not even Twitter executives know how many bots their truly are.
Whats’ even worse is that Zatko confessed that Twitter employees actually had access to sensitive user data and some of that information could have easily been leaked to India’s government.
Business professor Erik Gordon explained, “Twitter has another potential problem, and it isn’t Musk. It’s other shareholders who claim that they were hurt and claim that Twitter’s statements, disclosures amounted to misrepresentation under securities law.”
