These States Increasing Minimum Wage In 2022
These states will increase their minimum wage beginning January 1st, 2022.
On January 1st, 2022, much of America will increase their minimum wage to meet inflation.
According to Fox Business, Virginia is expected to see the largest increase of $1.50 to the minimum wage rate making it $11 per hour. Following Virginia, the state of Delaware will have the 2nd greatest increase of $1.25 to a total of $10.50 per hour.
California, Illinois, New Jersey and New Mexico will all increase their minimum wage by $1 per hour. This will put California at $15 per hour, Illinois at $12 per hour, New Jersey at $13 per hour and New Mexico $11.50 per hour.

-Montana: $9.20 (45 cent increase)
-Minnesota- $10.33 (25 cent increase)
-Colorado: $12.56 (24 cent increase)
