Minimum Wage Raised To What?
Democrats have lost their minds.
It has just been learned that California’s Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom has just signed a new landmark bill which will expands power and protections for fast food workers in the state. Many restaurant owners have lashed out at Newsom and warned that this new bill will ruin their businesses and drive up costs.
According to Fox Business, the landmark bill, AB 257, will create a 10-member Fast Food Council and two state officials to create new minimum standards for wages, hours and working conditions in California.
In a video which Newsom released on Twitter he explained the new bill is “committed to ensuring that the men and women who have helped build our world-class economy are able to share in the state’s prosperity.”
“Today’s action gives hardworking fast food workers a stronger voice and seat at the table to set fair wages and critical health and safety standards across the industry,” Newsom added.
