Are Democrats Responsible For Rising Home Prices?
Biden Fails, GOP Governor Creates Jobs For Americans
Republican Governor Doug Ducey stepped up and did something that President Biden couldn’t do by traveling down to Taiwan to meet with their President Tsai Ing-wen and announced the creation of a new $12 billion chip manufacturing plant which Taiwan will build in Arizona.
According to Fox, following the annoncement, President Tsai Ing-wen said, “In the face of authoritarian expansionism and the challenges of the post-pandemic era, Taiwan seeks to bolster cooperation with the United States in the semiconductor and other high-tech industries.”
“This will help build more secure and more resilient supply chains. We look forward to jointly producing democracy chips to safeguard the interests of our democratic partners and create greater prosperity,” Taiwan’s president added.
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co Ltd. is the worlds largest contract chipmaker and even supplies Apple Inc. nearly all of their chips as well.
Gov. Ducey added, “Both Arizona and Taiwan are global semiconductor leaders and it is in this industry where our partnership is the greatest. (The investment) has elevated the potential of what’s possible between Arizona and Taiwan.”
“TSMC’s legacy investment has elevated the potential for what’s possible between Arizona and Taiwan,” he added.
“Arizona stands with Taiwan, and we look forward to building on the many opportunities ahead,” Ducey said. “Arizona and Taiwan have many shared economic strengths specifically in technology and advanced manufacturing industries.”
President Biden needs to congratulate Arizona and leave his partisan politics behind and see big advancements being made by red states.
