Millions Of Seniors To Lose This
Here’s what is happening…
It has now been learned that millions of Americans who were enrolled in Medicaid throughout the COVID-19 pandemic could now lose their coverage on April 1st. This will happen if Congress decides to pass the new $1.7 trillion spending package.
According to Newsmax, the new legislation could finally end a requirement made during the COVID-19 pandemic which restircted states from ending Medicaid benefits for millions of people.
President Biden and his administration has been under massive pressure to officially announce an end the “public health emergency” and even 25 Republican governors signed a letter demanding that Biden do so.
Health consulting firm Avalere’s Massey Whorley explained, “This is a positive for states in terms of planning, however, this will come at the cost of some individuals losing their health care.”
As of right now, millions out of the 80 million low-income people who are on Medicaid could now lose their health insurance.
