Major Food Chain Exits Blue State
Business are preparing to say bye bye!
The CEO of fast food giant McDonald’s is now begging the city of Chicago to please do something to resolve their terrible crime problem before the company has to make major decisions to keep their customers and employees safe. Some of the decisions could even be to shut down stores a number of stores in the Chicago area.
Is this what President Biden and Democrat leaders want?
According to Breitbart, McDonald’s CEO Chris Kempczinski said during a recent event, “We are betting on Chicago in the long term because we think it makes good business sense.”
He then explained that it is becoming extremely difficult to do business in the Chicago area and they are also finding it very hard to acquire executives who want to move into the area because of just how dangerous Chicago is.
“There is a general sense out there that our city is in crisis,” Kempczinski explained.
Due to a lack of police presence in Chicago, criminals are targeting business and are operating with little fear. Just last weekend over 30 people shot in Chicago and a few of them even died.
Bloomberg explained, “Overall, crime has risen 38% this year. While murders so far in 2022 are down 15% from a year ago, overall crime in the district that includes the Loop jumped 89% this year.”
President Biden must urge Democrat leaders to tighten down on crime in many blue cities. Pretty soon major business will start exiting blue states in droves.
