Popular figure and star of show Shark Tank, Kevin O’Leary is warning Americans not to wait around for Christmas deals this year and go ahead and get your shopping done now!
According to CNBC, O’Leary strongly believes if Americans wait for too long before shopping this year for Christmas, there won’t be anything left on the shelves this year to purchase due to the supply chain crisis.
“In almost every hard goods sector, whether it’s luxury goods, high end apparel, purses, clothing for men, there is a huge problem in the supply chain,” O’Leary warned. “I would tell people: You better buy gifts now, like right now, because you’re going to start seeing shortages everywhere.”
If you are planning on buying for children O’Leary warns to buy it even faster for them because many of the top kids toys are made using semiconductor chips and those are also in short supply this time around.
“This is unique,” he warned. “There’s never been a holiday like this one. We’re going to see a lot of unsatiated demand.”
