Home Ownership Dead
This is terrible for the middle class.
If you planned on purchasing a home in the near future, things aren’t looking good.
It has now been discovered that homeownership in the United States has become highly problematic for middle-class Americans thanks to number of reasons including President Biden’s economy and the coronavirus pandemic.
According to Fox Business, home prices have surged in recent years and the number of homes available have become surprisingly low thanks to a recent study from the National Association of Realtors.
Shockingly, at the end of 2021 there were 411,000 fewer homes available on the housing market that were considered affordable for households making between $75,000 and $100,000 than before the pandemic started.
Fox further explained, “At the end of 2019, there was one available listing that was affordable for every 24 households in this income bracket. By December 2021, the figure was one listing for every 65 households.“
If things get worse, President Biden and the federal government must step up and make homes for affordable for the middle class.
