Gas Prices Spike Again
How are we going to afford this?
Once again, thanks to President Biden the national average for a gallon of gasoline in America has continued to rise for the second straight week in a row for the 2022 new year.
According to Fox, currently the national average for gallon of gas is $3.29 which is an increase of 2.3 cents compared to last week.
However, there is some good news. The national average is down 5.5 cents compared to last month but it is still up 97.5 cents per gallon compared to this time last year.
GasBuddy’s Patrick De Haan believes that gas prices are remaining high even though gas demand struggles because oil prices have “remained stubbornly strong.”Â
Last week crude oil costed $80 per barrel and today it is currently sitting at $81.45 a barrel.
Oil production has slowed down because of increased tension in Kazakhstan and Libya.
