Currently, the national average for a gallon of gasoline sits at $4.114. However, around the world a gallon of gas sits at an average of $5.06.
According to The Hill, here are the five countries with the highest gas prices:
Zimbabwe – Coming in 5th is Zimbabwe with a national average of $8.90 per gallon of gas.
Norway – Norway comes in 4th with an average of $9.15 per gallon.
Monaco – Third is Monaco with an average price of $9.23.
Central African Republic – At $9.34 per gallon of gasoline the Central African Republic comes 2nd.
Hong Kong – Coming in as the part of the world with the highest cost of gasoline is Hong Kong. A gallon of gasoline in Hong Kong costs an astounding $10.87 per gallon of gas.
