Gas Price Shocker
Here’s what happened…
Pretty soon, Americans are going to hit the road to visit family and celebrate Thanksgiving. As a result Americans will have to deal with the highest “Turkey Day” gas prices ever and no one is happy about it.
According to The Hill, GasBuddy has predicted that the national average for a gallon of gas will be $3.68 per gallon which is an increase of 30 cents when compared to 2021.
The last time gas prices were this high on Thanksgiving was in 2012 when the price was $3.44 per gallon.
These high prices haven’t deterred Americans from traveling however. 20% more Americans are planning on hitting the road this Thanksgiving even though gas prices are sky high.
