Democrats To Reopen Keystone Pipeline?
Will the Democrats finally do something right?
In surprising turn of events, moderate Democrat Senator Joe Manchin has just announced that President Biden’s administration should reconsider re-opening the canceled Keystone XL pipeline to combat fuel prices across America.
According to the Washington Examiner, Manchin went as far saying President Biden and people in his administration would be “foolish” to not reconsider supporting the completion of the pipeline.
“The XL pipeline is something we should have never abandoned,” Manchin said. “Now, we wish we had it.”
“Can it be rebranded? Can it be rerouted? Can we do these different things? We need this product,” Manchin said. “You all have a product that we have to have in order for us to meet the demand of our country, but your country, too, and the world.”
“I can’t guarantee you there’s a company up here that wants to reinvest again or if the administration is going to entertain that, but it’d be foolish not to,” he added.
