Democrats Cheat American Taxpayers
Republicans refuse to let them.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy set President Biden straight after Biden decided to take a jab at Republicans over the current debt ceiling battle which could end badly for millions of American taxpayers if not negotiated on properly.
According to Fox, Biden recently taunted Republicans and said that he will show his budget if Kevin McCarthy and the Republicans show theirs as well.
McCarthy fired back at Biden and reminded him about what happened in 2011 when he was vice president. McCarthy said, “For the president to say he doesn’t want to negotiate something this large… When you think back to 2011, when he was vice president, they even called the negotiations over the debt ceiling, the Biden negotiations.”
The new House Speaker then said Republicans have put the taxpayers first and unnecessary government spending last and said, “I mean, to think that the president believes there’s no place in government you can’t cut and have a savings for the hardworking taxpayers? There’s so much waste out there, and we’ve got to put ourselves back on a trajectory that balances.”
The United States has currently hit their debt ceiling of $31.4 trillion and Democrats want to take this opportunity to punish taxpayers instead of cutting unnecessary government spending. Republicans have vowed not to touch social security and medicare and hopefully they follow through on their promise.
