Carmaker Offers Refund For Vehicles
Some of you can get money back.
As car prices continue to rise across the nation, Chevrolet is now offering a refund to vehicle owners who purchased some of their vehicles.
According to Fox, Chevrolet said they are giving back money to people who purchased their electric Bolt EV after they decided to slash the prices on them.
Chevrolet slashed prices for Bolt EUV models by $5,900 to $6,300 for 2023. As a result individuals who purchased a Bolt in 2022 will receive money back for their purchase.
Chevrolet said in a statement, “A small number of Bolt EV and EUV customers purchased their vehicles in 2022 calendar year, when incentives were low due to limited inventory. As a result of the price reduction announced on the 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EV/EUV, we want to make sure these customers are satisfied with their purchase and ownership experience.”
“We will be reaching out to them in the coming weeks to inform them of a goodwill program that will provide reimbursements to make up the price difference,” they added.
