Builders Beg Biden
Is Biden going to do anything or will he just ignore the problem like always has.
As you already know, mortgage rates and home prices continue to soar across America. Things have actually gotten so worrisome that the National Association of Home Builders has now reached out to President Biden to alert him about a very real threat that is on the horizon.
According to Fox Business, the group of home builders wrote a letter to President Biden warning him that the housing market is reaching an inflection point and now American communities are are a major risk.
In the letter which was signed by 10,000 home builders, they explained to Biden, “We are very concerned that we will have a housing recession, and that this unsustainable, undesirable fact that right now the average American can’t afford the average house will continue to get worse. We will have a real and unsolvable housing crisis if we don’t get on top of it soon.”
The home builders are essentially demanding President Biden do a number of things to make homes affordable for the average American. One of the demands is asking President Biden to suspending tariffs on softwood lumber that comes from Canada as well as ending other trade disputes.
