Biden’s Big Move For Food Stamps

This was surprising to many…

In a historic new decision, President Joe Biden has just announced that he will give 30% more in food stamp benefits to over 40 million Americans for groceries.

Those who collect food stamps will now receive $157.24 per month compared to the previous $121 per month.

According to Fox Business, “To set SNAP families up for success, we need a Thrifty Food Plan that supports current dietary guidance on a budget,” said Stacy Dean, deputy undersecretary for food, nutrition, and consumer services. “Too many of our fellow Americans struggle to afford healthy meals. The revised plan is one step toward getting them the support they need to feed their families.

People will receive an increase of $36.24 per month per person which will cost the American Taxpayers billions of dollars.

Currently, 12% of the American population is on food stamps/Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
