Biden Slammed For Begging For Oil
Here are the details…
Montana Gov. Greg Gianforte condemned President Biden for reaching out to OPEC to produce more oil for the United States. Gov. Gianforte called it a “horrendous” move on Biden’s part.
Gov. Gianforte insisted that the United States have easily produced the oil that the Biden Administration has requested from OPEC. The governor also said that having the oil produced within the United States could have created more jobs and increased our national security.
According to Fox Business, “While OPEC+ recently agreed to production increases, these increases will not fully offset previous production cuts that OPEC+ imposed during the pandemic until well into 2022,” a statement from National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said. “At a critical moment in the global recovery, this is simply not enough.”
Republicans are particularly upset with President Biden for asked OPEC for more oil especially after he decided to kill the Keystone XL pipeline on this first day in office through executive order.
“Now we see the president begging OPEC for more oil,” Gianforte said. “It’s really horrendous and the reality is we could have produced these fuels here, creating American jobs and increasing national security.”
