Biden Not Concerned About Recession
Can we trust them?
President Biden and the White House has just told the American people that he is “not concerned” about a recession happening in the United States.
Now some people are wondering if Biden’s words can be trusted.
According to Fox, Biden’s comments about telling Americans he isn’t concerned about a recession came moments after it was revealed by the Commerce Department that the United States’ economy shrank by 1.4% at the beginning of 2022.
Gross domestic product (GDP) shrank by 1.4% which makes this single worst quarter in two years now.
Biden responded to this news by saying, “Well, I’m not concerned about recession. And I mean, you’re always concerned about a recession, but the GDP, fell to 1.4%.”
“But, here’s the deal,” Biden added. “We also had last quarter consumer spending and business investment and residential investment increased at significant rates, both for leisure as well as hard products.”
Biden then touted record low unemployment and how 4.5 million businesses were formed last year.
