Birthday Parties Canceled Under Biden

As funny as it may sound, America is now facing a global helium shortage and retail giant Dollar Tree is warning that graduation balloons and birthday party decorations may now be in short supply for those looking to decorate their parties.

According to Axios, Dollar Tree officials warned that they are now noticing a helium shortage which is going to impact their balloon sales.

This isn’t the first time the U.S. has experienced a helium shortage. In 2019 just before COVID-19 related shortages America was also dealing with a helium shortage as well.

Axios further explained that helium isn’t just used for party balloons. Helium is also used for a number of items including airbags, cryogenics, rocket fuel, MRI machines and for deep sea diving.
