Biden Considering NEW Vaccine Mandate
Here’s what we know…
President Biden and his administration recently issued a vaccine mandate for business with 100 or more employees where all employees must be vaccinated or get tested weekly and wear a mask while on the job. These new rules would be enforced by The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and business could be heavily fined if they refuse to obey.
Now, according to Fox Business, OSHA is in talks with President Biden about enforcing a new mandate for business with less than 100 employees.
OSHA and the Biden administration is essentially considering placing the same vaccine mandate on companies with fewer than 100 employees as big businesses with more than 100 employees.
In a new summary issued by OSHA, they appear to consider the idea of implementing Biden’s mandate on small businesses as well.
“OSHA is confident that employers with 100 or more employees have the administrative capacity to implement the standard’s requirements promptly, but is less confident that smaller employers can do so without undue disruption,” the summary said. “OSHA needs additional time to assess the capacity of smaller employers, and is seeking comment to help the agency make that determination.”
