In a new development that has brought shame on the American people, it now appears as though Americans are actually traveling themselves to Mexico purchased dozens of eggs and driving back into the country because President Biden and the Democrats have sent inflation soaring.
It’s important to note that smuggling uncooked eggs into the United States from Mexico is illegal and can result in fines of $10,000 or more.
According to CNN, egg prices in Tijuana are just $3 a dozen while they are an astounding $8 a dozen in places like California.
San Diego Customs and Border Protection Office’s Jennifer De La O explained, “The San Diego Field Office has recently noticed an increase in the number of eggs intercepted at our ports of entry. As a reminder, uncooked eggs are prohibited entry from Mexico into the U.S. Failure to declare agriculture items can result in penalties of up to $10,000.”
