Americans Want Government Shut Down

A new study has found that most voters believe that uncontrolled federal spending is the main reason that Washington has burned through the debt ceiling again.
How can everyday voters have more common sense than the Democrat lawmakers in Congress?
What’s more interesting about this study is that American voters are actually OK with the government shutting down until Democrats and Republicans can come up with the needed spending cuts to bring the debt down.
According to the Washington Examiner, a new Rasmussen Reports survey found that more voters blame Congress, President Biden, the White House and federal agencies for this problem and not themselves for not paying enough taxes like the Democrats claim.
56% of American voters would support a “partial” shutdown to lower the budget and 34% don’t.
66% of voters believe the U.S. debt is high because of “politicians’ unwillingness to reduce government spending.”
Democrats can’t keep pointing fingers at Americans for the decision that lead us here. They must own up to their responsibilities and stop spending.
