Americans Can Expect Very Expensive Winter
It’s going to be one very cold winter.
If you love a warm house on a cold winter day, get ready to pay for it.
That’s because Americans are expecting to face the largest increase to heat their homes in more than a decade! Thanks Biden.
According to NBC, the National Energy Assistance Directors Association (NEADA) has projected that there will be a 17.2% increase to heat your homes this winter compared to last winter. This is a 42% jump in the cost of household electricity when compared to the winters before the pandemic happened.
Officials are claiming that the increase in costs for heating this winter will be because of sky-high summer temperatures that resulted in the cost of natural gas to increase because of excessive air conditioning use.
Another reason for the price increase is because of the hiccup in natural gas production which was caused by the pandemic.
The NEADA has that 91% of all Americans’ heating and cooling costs are directly tied to the cost of natural gas.
Tradition Energy’s analyst Gary Cunningham explained, “There’s now an imbalance between our supply and demand. All summer when we should have been putting gas in storage, we weren’t storing it away. So, we had a cold winter, not strong growth in production, strong exports — and this is what we’ve got.”
Americans are suffering immensely thanks to President Biden and the Democrats policies. Now this winter they will face over the top inflation along with high heating costs.
