15 States Sending Relief Checks To Americans
This is good news.
Because of the inflation rate which has surged another 8.5% thanks to President Biden’s leadership, a number of U.S. states are stepping up and cutting checks for Americans who are financially struggling.
According CNBC, If you have paid your taxes, here are the 17 states which will send out relief checks in the near future:
California – People in California could get either a check or direct payments of $1,050. Those who make less than $250,000 yearly or $500,000 as a couple will qualify.
Colorado – Coloradans can soon expect a one time tax rebate sent via mail of $750 for individual filers and $1,500 for joint filers.
Delaware – Delaware is mailing a one-time $300 “relief rebate” check. Married couples will receive $600.
Florida – Gov. Ron DeSantis is sending a one-time $450 stimulus checks to low-income earners who are participating in the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program.
Georgia – If Georgians filed their taxes for both 2020 and 2021, Single tax filers will get $250, heads of the household will get $375 and couples will get $500.
Hawaii – Those who earn less than $100,000 or $200,000 as a couple will receive $300 each. The benefit also applies to dependents so a family of four could also receive $1,200.
Idaho – Idaho residents will get $300 for individual filers and $600 for those who file jointly.
Illinois – People in this state will get a one-time income tax rebates of $50 for single filers and $100 for couples. They will also get $100 per dependent.
Indiana – People in Indiana will get a one-time rebate of $125 or $250 for joint filers.
Maine – Maine residents will get a one-time payment of $850 relief checks if they make under $100,000.
Massachusetts – residents in this state will get 13% of their 2021 income tax liability.
New Jersey – New Jersey is offering $500 for each child under 6 years of age. Furthermore, Homeowners making less than $150,000 will get a $1,500 rebate on their property taxes.
Pennsylvania – Low-income homeowners who are in Pennsylvania’s Property Tax Rent/Rebate program will get a a one-time tax rebate. To be eligible they must be 65 or older or widows and widowers 50 and older or a person with a disability being 18 or older. They can receive a maximum of $650.
South Carolina – South Carolina residents with a tax liability in their 2021 returns will get checks of up to $700.
Virginia – Virginia residents with a tax liability will receive a one-time rebate of $250 for single filers and $500 for couples.
