White House Blames Americans For What?
They want to blame us now?
We wish we were making this up but President Biden’s Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen is now blaming Americans for the 40-year-high inflation which is plaguing the United States.
According to Fox, Yellen claimed that it was the “excessive spending habits” of Americans which has caused inflation to skyrocket.
It all happened when Yellen appeared on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” where she was asked why prices on practically everything were so high for more than a year now.
“two years ago everything seemed fine” Colbert told Yellen before asking why inflation was still an issue.
Yellen then claimed that the Biden Administration handled the COVID-19 pandemic so well that Americans felt comfortable to “splurge” on products.
“They were in their homes for a year or more, they wanted to buy grills and office furniture, they were working from home, they suddenly started splurging on goods, buying technology,” Yellen explained adding that it resulted in a “bottleneck”.
Yellen did not mention once about the massive spending that President Biden and the Democrats have been doing which many economists claim is the real cause of inflation instead they blamed us for inflation.
