Will Gas Prices Rise? Experts Weigh In
Here’s what they had to say…
Experts now believe that Americans will see a decrease in gas prices after several weeks of rising prices which were likely brought on by President Biden’s leadership.
According to Fox Business, the current national average for gas prices are $3.36 per gallon of gasoline which are up around 3.8 cents from just a week ago. Prices are also up $1.21 per gallon from a year ago.
Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis for GasBuddy, claims now the there might be some light at the end of the tunnel as long as there isn’t another jump in oil prices.
“This is because gasoline prices have now largely caught up to the jump in oil that started nearly a month ago,” De Haan said.
He added, “oil has held around $83 per barrel, and without a further climb, gas price increases should slow down soon in the bulk of the nation.”
