Twitter Bought Out?

by Market FinancePosted onApril 21, 2022April 21, 2022

Elon Musk is dead serious.

If you thought Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s attempt to purchase Twitter was just a publicity stunt, you are dead wrong.

Nearly a week ago Elon Musk offered to purchase Twitter for $46 billion and people laughed but just today Musk has already put together financing package to officially make it happen.

To keep things as simple as possible, Elon Musk has basically has alerted Twitters owners and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that he has all $46 billion ready to go and is prepared to make the purchase when they are.

JUST IN: Elon Musk has secured a $46.5 billion financing commitment to acquire Twitter Inc and is considering starting a tender offer for its outstanding shares, a filing with U.S. regulators showed.

According to Yahoo, Musk disclosed the new information to SEC in a recent filing. Financing by Musk includes commitments from Morgan Stanley and other financial institutions as well.

If our twitter bid succeeds, we will defeat the spam bots or die trying!
