TSA’s New Fine For People Who Don’t Wear Masks
If traveling wasn’t rough already…
The Transportation Security Administration has just announced their new plan to fine people who are traveling up to $3,000 if they do no obey federal mask mandate for air travel.
According to CNBC, a senior official in the Biden administration said fines will start at $500 and continue to go up to $3,000 for repeat offenders.
President Biden recently chose to extend the federal mask mandate for Americans who travel via bus, air, or train until January 18th.
Airlines continue to have a hard time dealing with unruly passengers because many continue to remove their masks mid-flight.
This year alone, almost 4,200 cases have been reported of people refusing to put on their masks.
