Dangerous Vehicle Recall Issued
In a surprising turn of events over a quarter million Ford Explorer SUV’s have been recalled in the United States because they are now rolling away even when they are parked.
According to Fox, Ford Motor Co.’s has recalled certain Ford Explorers which were made between 2020 through 2022 with 2.3-liter engines, as well as 3-liter and 3.3-liter hybrids and the 3-liter ST.
Reports indicate that the rear axle mounting bolt can easily fracture causing the drive shaft to disconnect.
This results in the SUV being able to roll away even when it is parked without the parking brake engaged.
Vehicles owners will be notified by mail starting June 6th.
