Trump Weighs In On Cryptocurrency
Does Donald Dig Bitcoin?
Peoples interest in cryptocurrency is bigger than ever at the moments and former President Donald Trump isn’t buying it. Literally.
In a recent interview with Fox Business, former President Trump has claimed that cryptocurrencies are “potentially a disaster waiting to happen.”
During his interview, Trump said he in not investing in cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum and he is “not been a big fan.”
“I like the currency of the United States,” Trump added.
Trump further explained that crypto “hurts the United States currency” and “we should be invested in our currency.”
“The currency of this world should be the dollar. And I don’t think we should have all of the Bitcoins of the world out there. I think they should regulate them very, very high,” Trump continued. “It takes the edge off of the dollar and the importance of the dollar.”
Trump then doubted the legitimacy of cryptocurrencies altogether and said, “who knows what they are, but they certainly are something that people don’t know very much about.”
