Trump Speaks On Inflation
Here’s what Trump had to say…
Former President Donald Trump recently sat down with Yahoo Finance and discussed the soaring inflation facing the United States and said that it would be one of the key reasons he runs again in 2024.
In transcript provided by Yahoo Finance, Trump said, “it’s very scary when you look at gasoline from $1.87 a gallon when I was president, it went from $1.87 and now it’s well over $5 that it’s going to go a lot higher.”
Trump predicted that things were about to get much worse as well. He noted that he believe inflation would continue to ravage the country.
Trump then raised concerns about President Biden asking OPEC to help provide the United States with oil. “Don’t forget, OPEC already turned down the United States,” Trump noted “And now all of a sudden they’re asking OPEC for help.”
Democrats now want to raise the debt ceiling which will likely contribute to even more inflation. Watch Senator Pat Toomey explain:
Which party controls the White House, the Senate, and the House? The Democrats.
We’ve told them from the beginning: If you want to go on this unprecedented spending spree, you will have to raise the debt ceiling that will contribute to paying for it. pic.twitter.com/z11e3rKmSk
