Gas Station Owners Attack Biden

New York City billionaire and owner of more than 400 gas stations, John Catsimatidis, unloaded on President Biden for attempting to blame gas station owners for high gas prices.

According to Fox, Catsimatidis lashed out at President Biden and said “This is ridiculous to put it on us. We’re not the ones that created the problem.”

Catsimatidis’ comments came after Biden blamed gas station owners and said, “Bring down the price you are charging at the pump to reflect the cost you are paying for the product. Do it now. Do it today. Your customers, the American people, they need relief now.”

Catsimatidis explained that gas station owners only make a certain margin off gas sales and they have nothing to do with high gas prices.

“[Gas stations] have to pay their payroll. They have to pay their rent. They have to pay their electric bill, and it’s the same margin that we’ve been making forever,” he explained.
