Can Trump Fix Biden’s Broken Economy In 2024?
1,050 Dollar Stimulus Checks Sent
It has just been learned that around 23 million Americans living in California will now receive “inflation relief” checks of up to $1,050 after Governor Gavin Newsom recently signed a new $308 billion state budget plan.
According to CBS, Gov. Newsom explained that these inflation checks are tax refunds that will send a total of $9.5 billion back to Californians.
The decision to send out new checks comes after California drivers have faced the highest gas prices in the United States with the current average price for a gallon of gas being an astounding $6.27 in the state of California. This average is almost 30% higher than the United States national average.
“In the face of new challenges and uncertainties, we’re providing over $17 billion in relief to help families make ends meet,” Newsom stated.
Single taxpayers who earn less that $75,000 a year or couples who earn less than $150,000 a year will qualify. Additionally taxpayers with dependents will get an additional $350.
