Plug Power (PLUG), one of the leaders in creating hydrogen fuel cells has just partnered with French carmaker Renault to launch their Hyvia joint venture and create hydrogen-powered vans.

According to Investors, this new partnership plans to build three types of fuel-cell vans in Renault’s French car plants.

Additionally, “The three models will be based on the Renault Master platform of vans and use the same electric motors that now power the all-electric version of the Master.“

They also plan to build hydrogen charging stations across Europe helping further the advancement of Plug Power.
