States With Highest Inflation

America is dealing with the hottest inflation in decades and for many, it has become too much to handle.
Inflation has been especially hard for Americans depending on the state they live in. On average the consumer price index rose 7% in December compared to last year for all of America.
According to Fox, If you live in Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico, inflation shocking is at its highest at 8.6%.
The states with the second highest rate of inflation were North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota and Iowa with an increase of 7.7% in inflation.
The states that came in third were Maryland, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio with an inflation rate of 7.5%.
The states with the lowest rates of inflation were New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania at 5.8%.
