15 States Sending Inflation Stimulus

As President Biden’s inflation continues to tear through the United States, 15 states have now planned on handing out a one time stimulus or some form of tax rebate for struggling Americans. Some of these states have already sent payments and some are planning to soon.
Here are the 15 states according to Fox:
California
Gov. Gavin Newsom recently approved a state budget to hand out new stimulus checks. These payments are expected to go out beginning in October.
- Single taxpayers making less than $75,000 per year will receive $350, plus another $350 for any of their dependents as well.
- Married couples who file taxes together and earn under $150,000 per year will get up to $700, plus $350 for any dependents, for a maximum of $1,050.
Colorado
Taxpayers who filed their 2021 taxed by June 30 will get $750 by September and couples who file together will get $1,500.
Delaware
Residents who filed a 2020 state tax return already got a one-time payment of $300 this year and couple who filed together got $300 each.
Florida
Gov. DeSantis is sending Floridians checks worth up to $450 per child to lower-income families.
Georgia
Georgia residents who filed both 2020 and 2021 tax returns are getting the following:
- Single filers: Maximum $250
- Head of household: Maximum $375
- Married filing jointly: Maximum $500
Hawaii
People who make less than $100,000 per year will get $300 and those who make more than $100,000 will get $100.
Idaho
Americans in Idaho will get $75 to each taxpayer and dependent of 12% of their 2020 state income tax whichever is larger.
Illinois
People making less than $200,000 per year will get a $50 tax rebate and for couples anyone making less than $400,000 will receive $100.
Indiana
Everyone who filed taxes will get $125 payments regardless of income and Gov. Eric Holcomb, a Republican, has ordered another $225 more to be sent.
Maine
Those who made less than $100,000 or married couples making less than $200,000 will get $850 or $1,700 as a couple.
Minnesota
Frontline workers will receive $750 and to be eligible workers needed to work at least 120 hours between Mar. 15, 2020 and June 30, 2021.
New Mexico
Taxpayers making less than $75,000 are to receive $250 or $500 for couples making less than $150,000.
Pennsylvania
“The Keystone state set up a property tax and rent rebate program in July, delivering money from a $121.7 million fund to people with disabilities, older homeowners and renters. Those eligible for the program should visit myPath website or file a paper application before Dec. 31, 2022.”
The maximum rebate is $650 but some taxpayers who own homes may get $975.
South Carolina
No details for eligibility have been released yet however some taxpayers will get a single payment of $800.
Virginia
Taxpayers that filed by Jul. 1st will get $250 or $500 in filed as a couple.
