While the entire country is currently burning, in an economic sense that is, Senior Citizens finally have some very good news to look forward to.
According to Fox Business, Americans who receive Social Security are about to get the biggest cost-of-living raise in over 40 years because of super high inflation brought on by the Biden Administration.
The Senior Citizens League believes that your monthly social security check will be increased by as much as 8.6% by next year!
While they currently believe it will be an 8.6% increase it’s important to remember that this is based on inflation. So if inflation goes down your increase could also go down. However, it inflation gets worse your monthly checks could be raised as well.
While it’s obvious that inflation is nothing to be celebrated, Seniors can rest assured know they will get a little extra starting next year.
