by Market FinancePosted onJanuary 17, 2022January 17, 2022

Closing early because these major fast food companies are now planning to cut their hours of operation because of staffing shortages thanks to a number of factors including the coronavirus, vaccine mandates, supply chain issues, and Joe Biden’s presidency.

According to Fox, fast food giant McDonalds has reported that the company has cut 10% of their operation hours because of a serious lack of employees. The company as also noticed a dip in their sales since the end of December.

Starbucks has also reported having a very difficult time finding workers. As a result they are now telling customers that they will have to deal with reduced hours and even a lack of specific products. Starbucks may even halt on mobile orders at certain locations.

In a statement, Starbucks stated, “You have our commitment to make the situation right. We will always make proactive decisions that prioritize the health and well-being of our customers and our partners.”

Customers of fast food chain El Pollo Loco will also be experiencing issues due to the staffing shortage as well. The company reported that they saw a 5-6% loss in business in their 4th quarter.

Furthermore, according to the Wall Street Journal, Chipotle, Shake Shack, and Kura Sushi have reported issues with staffing shortages as well and don’t be surprised if you cannot order from these locations at certain times.
