Now, a rumor is circulating across the internet that if you go to Chick-Fil-A and simply say “my pleasure” at any moment during your exchange with an employee, you will be rewarded with a free item or discount on something that is on their menu.
According to Mashed, this rumor gained momentum after a TikTok user filmed himself ordering a meal at the drive-thru and simply saying “my pleasure” to the employee and their response was “Your total is $0.“
The clip went viral and people quickly rushed to Chick-Fil-A to test out the theory. Now, there are people who claim the phrase “my pleasure” doesn’t work while others are saying they got a discount when they ordered.
It is unclear if this is just a rumor or some sort of funny joke Chick-Fil-A is playing on customers. However, it could be worth a shot next time you find yourself in a Chick-Fil-A drive-thru.
