PROOF: Americans Overworked
This was surprising.
It has just been learned that the productivity of American workers has drastically declined in America.
According to Fox, U.S. labor productivity dropped significantly across the United States in the first quarter making it the largest decline since 1947. What worse is that it dropped even further in the second quarter and then for a third time in the third quarter as well.
Why? Well the The Bauke Group believes that productivity fell because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, major changes made by the Biden administration to American policy along with the inflation rate also played a factor that affected the American workforce’s willingness to work.
The pandemic caused seasoned workers to retire earlier leaving a significant gap as well. What’s more problematic is that Gen X and Gen Z workers lacked the institutional knowledge when compared to their older counterparts.
If President Biden and the Democrats want to increase productivity in the United States they should work quickly to get America back to pre-pandemic levels in all aspects. If that’s even possible is a difficult question to answer however the Democrats do need to make an effort to do so.
