Medicare To Run Out By When?

Former Republican Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal is now sounding the alarm and warning the American people that their Medicare benefits is expected to disappears “if we do nothing by 2028.”

According to Newsmax, Jindal claims to have done the math and things only look worse from what they previously expected in the early 2000’s for both Medicare and Social Security.

Jindal explained, “The Democrats, by attacking responsible solutions, are ignoring the fact that Medicare’s trust fund – the Part A trust fund that pays for hospital visits – will run out of money if we do nothing by 2028.”

Jindal issued a warning to the Biden Administration as well saying that if they do not take this issue seriously, Medicare would not have enough revenue to continue to cover its costs.

“There are responsible changes we can make to modernize, to improve the program that don’t raise taxes, that don’t cut benefits,” Jindal added.

Jindal then provided simple solutions to fix Medicare and Social Security and said, “These are simple ideas which would save tens and hundreds of billions of dollars, wouldn’t cut benefits, wouldn’t raise taxes, wouldn’t hurt beneficiaries.”
