More Layoffs Rock The Economy

As more and more companies such as Microsoft, Facebook, Amazon, 3M, GE and more continue to layoff thousands of their employees it has now been learned that Disney will also be laying off more than 7,000 workers causing more turbulence to an already struggling economy.
Joe Biden’s presidency has brought everything from high gas prices, soaring food costs and now mass unemployment.
According to Fox, the Walt Disney Company has just announced that they are cutting their company size by 7,000 workers.
Disney has explained that their decision to cut jobs comes after their decision to restructure their business model to help the company save as much money as possible which will be billions if they cut 7,000 workers.
Disney CEO Bob Iger is looking to save an additional $5.5 billion. They are hoping to cut $1.5 billion in operating costs and another $3 billion by reducing their non-sports content.
This is yet another blow to President Biden and the Democrats who have been fighting hard to keep their unemployment numbers down. All of these companies including Disney are cutting thousands of jobs and people are beginning to wonder where all these workers will go. There’s no telling right now.
