Who Do You Blame For Inflation: Biden or Putin?
Biden Leaves America Hungry
Even though they were able to provide food during the Great Recession and even the Hurricane Sandy disaster, Community FoodBank of New Jersey is admitting that they have never spent more money to feed hungry Americans than now thanks to President Biden’s inflation.
Food bank president Carlos Rodriguez explained to Fox News, “The stories are the same. It’s just much more expensive to fill up their tank, to go to work or to drop [kids] to go to school. And then, of course, when they go to the grocery store, they get hit with another high cost.”
Rodriguez explained that his food bank is paying 40% more to buy the same amount of food as they did last year where they served an astounding 85 million meals.
“Not since the Great Recession, not through [Hurricane] Sandy, where I had the opportunity to serve, we’ve never seen anything like this,” Rodriguez explained.
And it’s not just the Community FoodBank of New Jersey that is dealing with this problem. Every food bank across America is dealing with the same issue.
A Meals on Wheels America spokesperson explained, “Meals on Wheels America is seeing a higher demand on the ground and we expect demand to remain high. According to our latest survey of local Meals on Wheels programs, 8 out of 10 are still serving more home-delivered meals and seniors than prior to the pandemic.”
