Illegals Getting Unemployment Benefits
This is absolutely outrageous.
After seeing what the state of New York did, California lawmakers are now introducing legislation that aims to give unemployment payments to illegals in their state who have lost their jobs.
Currently the state of California is loaded with money they received from the federal government because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the San Francisco Chronicle, California lawmakers introduced bill AB-2847, which is the Excluded Workers Pilot Program and will create a one-year pilot to provide unemployment benefits for undocumented people. Democrats are hoping to make this plan permanent soon.
California currently has 2 million undocumented residents. If this bill is passed the bill will begin handing out money to undocumented residents in 2023 and will cost around $690 million.
Assembly member Eduardo Garcia (D-Coachella) who sponsored the bill stated, “We’re trying to make sure that our safety-net programs are there to help all people in need by making everyone eligible. We’re trying to prevent people going into debt, expending their entire life savings, becoming homeless and hungry.”
Welcome to Biden’s America folks.
