No More Ice Cream, Candy Or Chicken Salad
Not finding things in the grocery store? Don’t be surprised.
If you love peanut butter cup ice cream, sorry to say but it’s no longer available on your grocery store shelves thanks to the recent Jif peanut butter recall due to a salmonella outbreak.
According to CBS, Americans are now being asked to use caution when eating many foods including baked goods, sandwiches, candy, trail mix and ready-to-eat salad products which have contained Jif peanut butter. These items are found everywhere from vending machines to gas stations.
The issue began May 20th when J.M. Smucker Co. recalled multiple items which contained their the Jif brands.
Furthermore, 16 people from 12 states have been infected and the CDC has predicted that many more Americans have been infected as well.
