How High Will Gas Prices Go?
Get ready to pay up.
If you thought gas prices were already high, the worst is still yet to come.
According to Fox, GasBuddy’s Patrick De Haan warned that the national average is headed to a shocking $4.50 per gallon and “could go higher,” depending on how to Russia-Ukraine conflict continues to worsen.
“At this moment, given things can change, I think the national average could rise to $4.50/gal, but could go higher if there are escalations in the situation,” De Haan explained.
Currently the state with the highest gas prices is California at $5.67 per gallon.
“It’s tough to digest this, and there’s not a lot of great news,” De Haan explained. “The increases will continue, but the pace of increases will likely slow down.”
Loosening environmental regulations won’t lower prices.
But transforming our economy to run on electric vehicles, powered by clean energy, will mean that no one will have to worry about gas prices.
It will mean tyrants like Putin won’t be able to use fossil fuels as a weapon.
